Chris Thompson is an Eisner Award-winning comics retailer, podcaster and publishing veteran. After spending years at Titan Comics, where he launched the Statix Press line of European titles - followed by a stint at Eaglemoss Hero Collector and working with various other publishers - he brings his talents and connections to Heavy Metal magazine as Editorial Manager for the relaunch.

Originally from Australia, he read his first issue of Heavy Metal at far too young an age in 1985 - thanks to a wayward but influential friend - and immediately became a Philippe Druillet devotee, whom he eventually met and spent time with in his Paris studio. Chris recently moved from London to Sicily, in order to deepen his European connections and experience 'la dolce vita'.
