Lorenzo’s sexy pin-ups and fantasy vixens have been featured in countless publications around the world, such as Hustler here in the U.S. as well as Playboy and Penthouse in Europe. His sensual and exotic creations have been featured on just about every kind of merchandise you can imagine.
He’s also released four art books: “The Art of Lorenzo Sperlonga” (2002), “Dirty Works” (2005), “Poison Apples” (2008), and “Steampunk Dolls and Femmes Fatales,” premiered at the San Diego Comic Con International in July, 2013.
Lorenzo, was born in Rome in 1969. He started as a graphic designer at the end of the ‘80s, and believe it or not, his first paid gig was a series of illustrations for children’s fairy tales!
Shortly after beginning his career as a designer, Lorenzo discovered that it was much more fun to paint scantily clad ladies than Pinocchio, and so he began creating covers for Italian fumetti. This proved to be the beginning of a successful illustration career that eventually brought him to America in 1997.
In this gallery we proudly present a few of the 158 paintings Lorenzo created for “Steampunk Dolls and Femmes Fatales,” whetting your appetite with a small sample of what his new book is all about. Ladies in sexy lingerie... and more often without it! A collection of babes with impossible weaponry, skin-tight garments and gravity defying breasts. That’s the way he likes them (and really, who can blame him?)
