He also illustrated Tears of Gold for Metal Hurlant magazine and, notably, Final Incal, the concluding saga of the renowned science fiction series The Incal, both scripted by Alejandro Jodorowsky. Their partnership continued with The Sons of El Topo, a surrealist Western sequel to Jodorowsky’s cult film El Topo.
